Lavina A. Barton
Lavina Ann Barton, 74, of Lockridge, died Sunday, Aug. 24, at Henry County Health Center.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Coffin officiating. Burial will be at Lambirth Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Lambirth Cemetery and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She was born April 16, 1934, in Washington County, the daughter of David and Ada Christner Schantz. On June 3, 1956, she married Rex W. Barton in Washington.
