Lawrence Howard ?Larry? Trotter

Lawrence Howard ?Larry? Trotter, 93, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at his home.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, at the Ainsworth Community Church in Ainsworth with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating.  Burial with military honors will be at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m.  Memorials have been established to Ainsworth Community Church or Ainsworth Opera House.

    Mr. Trotter was born April 17, 1916, in Letts, the son of G.F. ?Si? and Eathel (McElwain) Trotter.  He married Irene Bishop on July 5, 1942, in the Marengo Methodist Church.
