Leah Eichelberger Bachman

TISKILWA, Ill. - Leah Eichelberger Bachman, 102, of Tiskilwa, Ill., formerly of Wayland, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Colonial Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, Ill.

      Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, south of Wayland, with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the church, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Sugar Creek Mennonite Church or Willow Springs Mennonite Church.

      Mrs. Bachman was born on Jan. 13, 1902, in Wayland, to John and Josephine (Roth) Graber. On Jan. 18, 1923, she married Chris E. Eichelberger in Wayland. He preceded her in death in 1948. On May 22, 1960, she married Edward Bachman in Tiskilwa, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1980.
