Leah Magdalene Eichelberger Bachman
Leah Magdalene Eichelberger Bachman, 102, of Tiskilwa, Ill., formerly of Wayland, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Colonial Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, Ill.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, south of Wayland, with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with family present from noon to 1 p.m. Memorials have been established for Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and Willow Springs Mennonite Church. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements.
Survivors include a son, James and his wife Peggy Eichelberger of Racine, Wis.; two daughters, Evelyn and her husband Weldon Albrecht and Gratice and her husband Wilbur Albrecht, both of Tiskilwa; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Stella Boshart of Wayland; and a brother, Alvin Graber of Newton, Kan.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marvin Charles; four brothers, Peter, Albert, Amos and Wilbert; and five sisters, Emma, Katie, Anna, Lavina and Evelyn.
