Leila Mae Kelly
Leila Mae Kelly, 85, of Keota, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Jack Bonham officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Kelly was born on July 1, 1918, in Ainsworth, to Earl and Mabel (McFarland) Gesling. She married George Wood in Kahoka, Mo., and later married Thomas Kelly in Washington.
