Leilla Kennedy
Leilla Kennedy, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at her home after an extended illness.
The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Beatty Funeral Homes in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Monte Knudsen, pastor of the Faith Christian Outreach Church, officiating. Friends may sign the register or leave a memorial in her memory to Crossroads Hospice of Henry County from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. According to her wishes her body has been cremated with burial of her remains in the Forest Home Cemetery.
