Lela M. Goodwin
WELLMAN - Lela M. Goodwin, 97, of Wellman died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006 in Parkview Manor following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at Sixteen Cemetery near Thornburg with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. There will be no visitation. The body was cremated. A memorial fund has been established for Parkview Manor Chaplaincy Program. The Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Goodwin was born March 11, 1909 in Tipton, the daughter of Eli and Sadie (Moore) Horn. She married Irvin Goodwin on Jan. 14, 1931 in Chillicothe.
