Leland F. Grove

      LAURENS - Leland F. Grove, 85, of Laurens, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 in the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 in the First Christian Church in Laurens with the Rev. Sara Galindo officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Brethren Cemetery in South English. Visitation will follow the memorial service until 5:30 p.m. in the church. Smith-Loterbour-Powers in Laurens is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Pocahontas County Hospice or to Habitat For Humanity.

      Mr. Grove was born Sept. 28, 1921 in Kinross, the son of Earl and Sarah (Bruere) Grove. He married Theresa Jeannette Niswander on Nov. 15, 1942 in Des Moines.
