Lenore R. Owens

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Lenore R. Owens, 87, of Winfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Grandview Terrace in Davenport.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Joann Harry officiating. Burial will be in Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. Following burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at Spring Run Church in rural Columbus Junction. Visitation will be held on Friday, at the funeral home, from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Mrs. Owens was born on July 7, 1916, in Riverside, to William S. and Iva M. (McBride) Coon. On March 11, 1937, she married William "Howell" Owens in Cotter.
