Leo E. Miller

KALONA - Leo E. Miller, 82, of Kalona, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, in his home following a lingering illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, in the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Don Patterson and the Rev. Dick Swartzendruber officiating. Burial will be in Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in Wellman. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the Iowa Lions Foundation or Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.

      Mr. Miller was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Kalona, the son of Milo and Lizzie (Kempf) Miller. He married Darlene Brenneman on Sept. 14, 1950, in the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.
