Leo L. Finke

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Leo L. Finke, 86, of Columbus Junction, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, in the United Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Faye Fedlam officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Following the interment there will be a time of food and fellowship in the Masonic Hall and Community Center in Columbus City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Finke was born Sept. 24, 1922 in Monmouth, Ill., the son of William "W.E." and Mary Louisa (Vaughn) Finke. He married Shirley Dilsaver on Dec. 16, 1945 in Cedar Rapids.
