Leo Pohlman
NEVADA - Leo Pohlman, 87, of Mingo, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, in the Ira United Church in Ira. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery, west of Ira. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the United Church of Ira.
Pohlman was born Dec. 26, 1920 in Castana, the son of John and Margaret (Lindsey) Pohlman. He married Frieda Dahl on July 17, 1942.
