Leola Verle Marner
KALONA ? Leola Verle Marner, 84, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
Celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Don Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home and Iowa City Hospice.
