Leona Evelyn Miller

WELLMAN ? Leona Evelyn Miller, 84, of Wellman, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

    Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Wellman Mennonite Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Wellman Mennonite Church with the Rev. Marvin Hostetler officiating.  A memorial fund has been established for the Wellman Mennonite Church.  The Powell Funeral Home in Wellman handled the arrangements.

    Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 1, 1924, in Milford, Neb., the daughter of William and Emma (Stutzman) Roth.  She married Daniel E. Miller Jr. on Jan. 20, 1946, in Milford, Neb.
