Leona F. Eagle
Leona F. Eagle, 96, of Washington, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, in the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Interment will be in he Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Richmond. Visitation began at noon today in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. James Church.
Mrs. Eagle was born Feb. 28, 1912 in Glasgow, the daughter of Walter and Iva (Messer) Bales. She married Herman A. Eagle on Jan. 12, 1932 in Richmond.
