Leona L. Hardin Smith
Leona Louise Hardin Smith, 85, of Mediapolis, formerly of Oakville, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine.
The funeral for Mrs. Smith will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, with the Revs. John Gaulke and Scott Smith officiating. Korkee Carruthers will provide the music. Cremation will follow, and burial will be at a later date in Edwards Cemetery in Oakville.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Born March 28, 1920, in Lee County, she was the daughter of Clarence Edwin and Mary Helen Duff Lange.
