Leona Mae Kaufman
WAYLAND-Leona Mae Kaufman, 92, of Wayland, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, at Parkview Home in Wayland.
Funeral services were held this morning at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church near Wayland, with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial was in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.
Miss Kaufman was born on May 26, 1913, south of Wayland, to Joseph J. and Lydia (Boese) Kaufman.
