Leona McBride
COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Leona McBride, 89, of Columbus Junction died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 5 in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt of the Ainsworth Community Church officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in the funeral home.
Mrs. McBride was born Aug. 19, 1917 in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Fred and Sarah Lucinda (Waggoner) Jones. She married John Paul McBride on Feb. 11, 1939 in Washington.
