Leonard A. Spurgeon
Leonard A. Spurgeon, 84, of Oskaloosa died Wednesday night, July 21, 1999, at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with the Rev. Lanny Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with graveside military rites by members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation with the family will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Memorials can be made to either the Central United Methodist Church or Harry L. Anderson Post 34, American Legion of Oskaloosa.
