Leonard C. Knapp

Leonard Calvin Knapp, 77, of Danville, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

His body has been cremated. Visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Prugh's Chapel in Burlington. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Chapel with the Rev. Dan Buck officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek in rural Danville. Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites.

A memorial has been established for the Danville Fire and Rescue.

He was born March 19, 1931, in Artesian, S.D., the son of Walter and Viola Ikerd Knapp. He married Ruth Stout on Dec. 22, 1957, in Burlington.
