Leonard H. 'Bud' Molander

Leonard H. "Bud" Molander, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday evening Jan. 4, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will follow in the Swedesburg Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends following the service at the Swedesburg Parish Hall. There will be no calling hours at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. A memorial has been established to the Swedesburg Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Susanne Waterhouse of Winfield, and Dianne Eland of New London; two sons, Charles Molander of Harlem, Ga., and William Molander of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Molander of Swedesburg; and his companion of 10 years, Doris Glover.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
