Leonard N. Bayliss
KEOTA - Leonard N. Bayliss, 88, of Keota, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at Sigourney Care Center, following a lengthy illness.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery with military rites accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Bayliss was born on July 20, 1916, near Keota, to Tom and Theresa (Hammen) Bayliss. On March 26, 1946, he married Rosella Sieren near Harper.
