Leonard N. Greiner

      Leonard N. Greiner, 93, of Keota, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Maplewood Manor in Keota, from complications of pneumonia.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Keota. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. that evening, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Maplewood Manor, Hospice of Washington County or Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church.

      Mr. Greiner was born May 6, 1911, in Keota, to Michael A. and Caroline (Conrad) Greiner. On April 17, 1934, he married Mary Margaret Woerdeman in Houghton. She preceded him in death on April 25, 1982. On Sept. 18, 1983, he married Hazel Grimm in Keota. She preceded him in death in 2000.
