Leota Fay Rose September 18, 1924 - March 22, 2004

Leota Fay Rose, 79, of Burlington, died at 8 p.m. on March 22, 2004, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25 in Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will begin after noon today at the chapel, with family present from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established to Great River Hospice.

Survivors include three sons, Larry D. Rose Sr., Dennis L. Rose and Gail L. Rose, all of Burlington; a daughter, Susan Sumpter of Oquawka, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Sliger of Mt. Pleasant' and a brother, Clyde Seitz of Oquawka.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
