Lester Biggerstaff
Lester E. Biggerstaff, 80, of Winfield, died Monday morning Dec. 5, 2005, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with the Rev. Lester Honson officiating. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday morning, with family present from noon to the time of the service. Memorials have been established to the Morning Sun Lions Club and Winfield First Responders.
Mr. Biggerstaff was born April 5, 1925, in Fort Collins, Colo., the son of Harry and Elsie Swanson Biggerstaff.
