Lester Johnson February 17, 1925 - April 28, 2005
Lester Truman Johnson, 80, of rural Danville, died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Danville Care Center.
The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with Pastor Gary Boschee officiating. Burial was in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jerry Johnson of West Burlington, Lloyd Johnson of New London, and Daniel Johnson of Denmark; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
