Lester R. Ledger

BRIGHTON ? Lester R. Ledger, 82, of Brighton, died Monday, April 13, 2009, in the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, following failing health.

    Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Charles J. Fladung and the Rev. Robert Streigel officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church with the family present at 6 p.m.  Prayers for a Christian Wake and rosary will follow at 7 p.m.  A memorial fund has been established for Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Church.  Gould Funeral Home in Brighton is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Ledger was born Feb. 3, 1927, near East Pleasant Plain, the son of Edward P. and Margaret M. (Peck) Ledger.  He married Betty Lou Adam on Feb. 14, 1953, in Harper.
