Letha M. Johnson

      CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - Letha M. Johnson, 83, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in her residence.

      Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the Lindley Funeral home in Chillicothe. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 8 a.m. Tuesday until the service time in the funeral home. Memorial graveside services will be held in the Columbus Junction Cemetery in Columbus Junction at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5. Memorials may be made to the Letha M. Johnson Memorial Fund.

      Mrs. Johnson was born May 16, 1925, in Chula, Mo., the daughter of Henry E. and Theo (Brown) Ishmael. She married Arthur B. Johnson on Sept. 14, 1947 in Chillicothe. He died Dec. 26, 1991.
