Letitia “Toots” Ann Webber, 84, of Stockport, IA, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Jefferson County Hospital. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Stockport Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Kathryn Hart and Daine Bales officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the church and will last until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Letitia’s honor may be directed to the Stockport Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society and mailed to 27224 105th St., Stockport, IA 52651. Letitia “Toots” Ann Webber was born on December 26, 1938, in Burlington, IA, to Wayne and Huba Cohagan Hunt. She attended school and graduated from Stockport High School with the class of 1956. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to Keith Webber and together they became the loving parents of five children. During this time, Letitia attended school to be a Medical Technician and began working at the Hospital in Burlington. Letitia and Keith later divorced. Over the next stage of her life Letitia married and lost two husbands, Harold Allen Garmoe and Bob Johnson. With her marriage to Harold Allen she had another son, Kerry. Her path in life eventually brought her back to Keith and she returned to the farm in Stockport. Letitia retired from the Burlington Hospital in 2006 and worked for several years after retirement for the Mt. Pleasant Hospital. Letitia was a gifted cook and organized many meals for family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hats Club and the Stockport Methodist Church. She will be missed by her family and the many people who called her friend.
Letitia was preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Karmen Webber, Karlene McPherson and Karla Webber Moser; one sister, Lenora McCoy; and two husbands, Harold Allen Garmoe and Bob Johnson.
Left to honor her memory is her husband, Keith Webber of Stockport, IA; three children, Krista (Larry) Hartman of Burlington, IA, Keith Wesley Webber of Stockport, IA, and Kerry Wayne Garmoe of Stockport, IA; eight grandchildren, Adam, Justina, Nick, Jordan, Cort, Kaleb, Kyle and Kollin; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; a sister, Jeraldine, Snodgrass of Keosauqua, IA; as well as many extended family and friends.
