SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Letty J. Jackson, 81, of San Antonio, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.

Private services will be held in Des Moines. Memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Children.

Mrs. Jackson was born Sept. 8, 1927 in Fairfield, the daughter of Alvin L. and Stella Fry. She married James F. Jackson.
