Lewis E. Hohenshell

WELLMAN - Lewis E. Hohenshell, 89, of Washington, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, in he Halcyon House in Washington following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to the time of the service Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Halcyon House in Washington or Washington County Hospice.

      Mr. Hohenshell was born March 14, 1919, in North English, the son of Otha T. and Martha A. (Feldman) Hohenshell. He married Wilma Jean Morrow on Aug. 30, 1940, in he Christian Church in Cedar Rapids.
