Lewis E. Swantz
KALONA - Lewis E. Swantz, 72, of Mobile, Ala., died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at his home, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. John King and the Rev. Floyd Helmuth officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church and Mobile Mennonite Church.
