Lewis Marion Fenton

      Lewis Marion Fenton, 87, of Washington, formerly of Iowa City, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

      Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Military honors will be accorded, at the cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. memorials may be directed to Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Fenton was born on May 10, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant, to William John and Mable Ruth (Young) Fenton. He married Eva Cecelia Boucher on Aug. 7, 1943, in Grenier Field, N.H.
