Lewis V. Belcher
WELLMAN - Lewis V. Belcher, 83, of Wellman, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the United Christian and Baptist Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for Parkinson's research and the Wellman Senior Center. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wellman is handling arrangements.
