Lila Kay Harrison Shondel

Lila Kay Harrison Shondel, 57, of Fairfield, died at Jefferson County Health Center Monday, July 23, 2012.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Phipps officiating. A luncheon at VFW follows the service.

Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. preceding service at the funeral home. The body will be cremated after service.

Mrs. Shondel was born Oct. 15, 1954, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Howard and Ada Lankford Harrison. She married Albert Shondel, Feb. 9, 1974, in Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband, Albert of Fairfield; three children, Thomas Shondel and spouse Nadeana, and Holly Shondel, all of Fairfield, and Jodi Shondel of Mount Pleasant; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her parents-in-laws, two sisters and twin sons.
