Lillian Elizabeth 'Pill' Murphy
Lillian Elizabeth "Phil" Murphy, 87, of Washington, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at home, following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington, with the Rev. Robert Patton officiating. Burial also will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Washington County.
Mrs. Murphy was born on May 4, 1916, in Powersville, Mo., to Thomas T. and Rebecca Ann (Blanchard) Starr. She married Dave E. Murphy on Sept. 27, 1936, in Washington.
