Linda Allen

Linda L. Allen, 59, of West Burlington, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2004.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with Pastor Greg Carr officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural New London at a later date. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include three daughters, Crystal Brown of Olds, Candy Skow of Winfield, and Tammy Walker of Burlington; a son, Robert Bowman Jr. of New London; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Elsie Rourke of Mooresville, Ind., Evelyn Siens of Oquawka, Ill., Lois Mohnike of West Burlington, and Joyce Gilleard of New London; two brothers, Ralph Calhoon of West Burlington, and Wilbur Calhoon of Boone, Colo.; and her foster mother, Delores J. Smith of Havana, Ill.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Curtis McGinty; a sister and two brothers.
