Linda I. Unternahrer, 70, of Ainsworth, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with Pastors Nathan and Rachelle Luitjens officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Sugar Creek, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established for Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and American Cancer Society. Linda Unternahrer died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Linda Irene (Perry) Unternahrer was born Sept. 12, 1949, in Valparaiso, Ind., the daughter of Manford and Wanda (Owen) Perry. She graduated from Portage High School and attended the Indiania University Bloomington. On July 26, 1997, she was united in marriage to Clarence Unternahrer at Marr Park in Washington. Linda was a homemaker and owned and operated Linda Lou's Dips and Cheesecakes for several years. She was a member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and enjoyed crafts, sewing, fishing and camping.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence of Ainsworth; mother, Wanda Boyer of Fort Madison, Iowa; two daughters, Jennifer Lindner-Green (Davin) of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Julie Lindner-Reid of Ainsworth; stepdaughter, Stephanie Unternahrer of Johnston, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Maxwell, Griffin, Maezel, Tiernan, Torlief, Amelia and Liam; eight step-grandchildren, Fantasia, Antonio, Christine, Avery, Reeves, Taylor, Tate and Ashley; nine step-great-grandchildren, Currey, Corbin, Cooper, Averiana, Taylor, Gabriel Ava, Addelinn, Ezrie and Ezekyel; and one brother, David (Sue) Perry of Chesterton, Ind.

Preceding Linda in death was her father; stepfather, Charles Boyer; stepson, Jimmy Lee Unternahrer; and sister-in-law, Susan Perry.
