Linda L. Tomson, 55, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

Linda was born on March 7, 1967, in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Lynn and Elizabeth "Liz" (Larkins) Woodruff. Linda was united in marriage to Douglas Tomson on Aug. 21, 2000, in Mount Pleasant. Linda was a very talented person with crafting, sewing and quilting. She was a loyal friend to her friends and shared a loving and strong bond with her brothers and family. She enjoyed camping along the river, but most of all being the best grandma in the world.

Linda is survived by her husband, Doug; her children, Miranda Marlow, Alicia Marlow and Justin Marlow; her grandson, Ian Paul; her father and stepmother, Lynn and Carol Woodruff; her mother, Liz Felton; an d her brothers, Thomas Woodruff, Donald Woodruff, Ronald Woodruff, Todd Woodruff and Robert Woodruff.

Linda's family will host a private family celebration of her life. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant. A memorial has been established for her grandson's education, and may be mailed to Miranda Marlow at 807 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant, IA 52641.
