Linda Lee Edwards, age 74, of Wayland, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, following a sudden illness.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Cottonwood Cemetery in rural Wayland, Iowa. A general memorial has been established. Linda was born August 23, 1947, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Hank and Ruby (Quigley) Taylor. She attended school in Washington, Iowa, graduating from Washington High School in 1965. She married Robert Vayan in October of 1976. They later divorced. She was united in marriage to Micheal Dean Edwards on January 25, 1991.

Linda lived in Washington, Iowa, prior to moving to Wayland in 1994. She worked at McCleery Cumming Calendar Factory. Linda enjoyed being outdoors and traveling with her husband, Michael. She enjoyed crocheting and New York Times crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her son, Michael Vayan and wife Lucretia of Chandler, Arizona; daughter, Aimee Vayan of Wayland, Iowa; daughter, Stacee Vayan and significant other, Craig Bartholomew of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Stacy Tuttle and husband Matt of Junction City, Kansas; daughter, Rebecca Hayes and husband Scott of New Port Richie, Florida; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Vic Taylor and wife Jill of Kansas.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Micheal Edwards; grandson, Robert Michael Vayan; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Derald and Yvonne Edwards.
