Linda Schjelderup

      COAL VALLEY, Ill. - Linda Schjelderup, 56, of Coal Valley, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport, after a battle with leukemia.

      Funeral services were held today at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport, with the Rev. Paul N. Tweeten officiating. Burial was in Coal Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Trimble Funeral Center in Coal Valley. Memorials may be directed to a general fund or a favorite charity.

      Mrs. Schjelderup was born on Oct. 31, 1948, in Marshalltown, to William Russell and Mary (Thomas) McCandless. On Sept. 8, 1966, she married Dennis Sieren. On May 11, 1985, she married Leslie Schjelderup in Davenport.
