Linda Schmitt

      Linda Schmitt, 57, of rural Bonaparte, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at home. She suffered from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. June 24 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Hospice of Central Iowa may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 28988 Route J-40, Bonaparte 52620.

      Mrs. Schmitt was born May 25, 1951, in Bloomfield, the daughter of Charles Edward and Eulala June Davis Roberts. She married Roderick Schmitt March 4, 1972, at Sharon Presbyterian Church, north of Farmington.
