Linda Schmitt

Linda Schmitt, 57, rural Bonaparte, died Saturday, June 14, at her home.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 28988 Route J-40, Bonaparte, IA 52620.

She was born May 25, 1951, at Bloomfield, the daughter of Charles and Eulala Davis Roberts. A graduate of Van Buren Community High School, she attended Parsons College in Fairfield and Southeastern Community College in Keokuk. She married Roderick Schmitt on March 4, 1972, at Farmington.
