Lindy Ruth Lowe Glatch, 67, of Brighton, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at her home.

Lindy was born Nov. 22, 1954, the daughter of Glen and Francine (Morgan) Lowe. She was the oldest of five children. She attended Brighton Elementary School and Washington High School. On May 21, 1977, she married Willard "Wilbur" Glatch in Brighton. They made their home on a farm south of Brighton for many years before moving into town.

Lindy enjoyed attending auctions, garage sales and looking for bargains on antiques with her husband. Lindy also loved fishing, camping and sitting around a campfire with family. She also enjoyed attending Midwest Old Threshers, was an avid reader and liked doing puzzle books. She loved animals and often took in and helped stray cats. She was a great cook and made fantastic treats every Christmas. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her laugh and her love of family. Lindy's final wish was to be an organ donor and her selfless gift will help 25 people live fuller and healthier lives.

Lindy is survived by her husband of Brighton; her father, Glen Lowe of Brighton; brother, Donnie (Mary) Lowe of Brighton; sisters, Margie (Bill) Derby of Brighton and Pam Starr of Coppock; and many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Francine Lowe; her sister, Mary Jarrard; and an infant nephew and an infant niece.
