Lloid E. Grout
KALONA - Lloid E. Grout, 96, of Sun City, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in Sun City due to complications of age.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. A Masonic service will be performed by Sharon Center Lodge. Burial will be in Sharon Center Cemetery in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the Rotary International or Shrine Hospitals. Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Grout was born Dec. 4, 1910, in Kalona, the son of Harry and Neta (Southwick) Grout.
