Lloyd Del Beenblossom

Lloyd Del Beenblossom, 69, of Washington, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at Washington County Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

      The celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20 at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Revs. Kitch Shatzer and James Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 at Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the United Presbyterian Home.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Schantz of Washington; three sons, Michael S. Beenblossom of Chicago, Matthew L. Beenblossom of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Martin L. Beenblossom of Washington; a daughter, Michelle L. Glosser of Packwood; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Beenblossom of West Burlington.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
