Lloyd Edward Hinkle

Lloyd Edward Hinkle, 75, of rural Wayland, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at Trenton Missionary Church with the Revs. Stephen Ortmann, Larry Secor, Gary Hinkle and Pastor Don Johanson officiating. Burial will be in Green Mound Cemetery, west of Trenton. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for Trenton Missionary Church and Timber Lakes Camp near Ottawa, Kan., the Midwest District Missionary Church Camp.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and his wife Monica Hinkle of Burlington and Donald and his wife Kim Hinkle of Des Moines; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and a brother John and his wife Dorothy Hinkle of Wayland.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold, and his wife Ellen; and a sister, Mary Reighard and her husband Gene.
