Lloyd Ellis Comer, 73, of Rockford, Ill., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Alden Alma Nelson in Rockford, Ill.
A private family service was held Saturday at Fairfield Friends Church. Burial was in Floris Cemetery.

Mr. Comer was born March 3, 1935, in Floris, the son of Virble F. Comer and Evelyn Ranard. He married Sharon Joyce Wing Nov. 15, 1953, in Ottumwa.
