Lloyd F. Prior

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Lloyd F. Prior, 93, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, in the Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.

      Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Catherine Whitlatch of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Following the interment there will be a time of refreshments and fellowship held at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Prior was born Dec. 11, 1913, in Crawfordsville, the son of Franklin E. and Alice (Leasure) Prior. He married Marjorie L. Hall on Dec. 31, 1935, in her uncle's home in rural Louisa County.
