Lloyd J. Meyer
KALONA - Lloyd J. Meyer, 87, of Riverside, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at his home, following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of Life services were held this morning. Burial was in Memory Gardens in Iowa City. Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona handled the arrangements. Memorials have been established for Iowa City Hospice or Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Mr. Meyer was born Aug. 18, 1918, to Julius and Minnie (Muhleisen) Meyer in Blue Hill, Neb. He married Ruth Gosnell on Sept. 18, 1943 in Iowa City.
